The Lake Ranch Reservoir was built in 1874-1876 and is part of the San Jose Water water storage system and consists of a 70 million gallon reservoir between two earthen dams located in a steep, heavily wooded terrain.
WaterWorks was hired to provide final design and construction phase services to improve the Lake Ranch Reservoir. These upgrades included floating siphon inlets on fixed pontoons, manual and solar powered automatic siphon priming system, energy dissipation outlets, and more.
