Education:

Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field

Water Works Engineers, with offices in Scottsdale, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT, Los Angeles, CA, Redding, CA, Roseville, CA, San Mateo, CA, and Star, ID, provides consulting engineering services for water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, sewage pump stations, water booster stations, pipelines, and other water and wastewater facilities throughout the Western United States. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred
  • 2 years experience working successfully in a helpdesk or other IT customer service role
  • Additional experience and/or certification will be considered
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and communication skills
  • Commitment to technical excellence
  • Creative thinker and team player
  • Proficiency supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 required
  • Experience with server OS, network equipment and knowledge of CAD/3-D modeling programs a plus
  • Availability for after-hours/on-call duties as necessary (light)
  • Some travel (up to 10%) may be required for this position
  • Able to lift 30 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve IT helpdesk requests
  • Diagnose and address hardware and software issues
  • Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary
  • Stage equipment and on-board new employees
  • Allocate and maintain IT equipment
  • Document, track, and maintain IT inventory
  • Assist/participate in various IT-related projects
  • Learn/develop skills to provide backup for network systems admin
  • Perform other duties asassigned
